This is 100% Litsy's fault. It seemed like everybody was reading this over on Litsy and loved it, so I picked it up. So glad I did because this is SUPER FUN. While I loved the two main characters, Clive the cat really stole the show for me.

I loved this book!
The little ending with Clive though! I especially loved that. I loved how much that cat was apart of this story. I love cats and since I'm without one for the first time in years I appreciate the fictional versions.
I started reading this story a little while back. I had originally did an interlibrary loan. The cover looked interesting to me. That was the main reason I requested it.
It stuck in my mind and I finally bought my own copy last week. I returned to it on Friday.

This was sweet. I don't "do" romance (and I'm actually laughing at myself that I READ a romance novel), but it was recommended and it made me laugh. Two things I did not like: it was previously a Twilight fanfic. You don't have to be a Twilight superfan to figure out what each character was in the book's previous incarnation. And two, Caroline reads MUCH older than 26. Dude, at 26 I most certainly was not cooking my friends paella and buying fancy wine. Why not age her a bit, make her 29, 30?
