Shelves: re-read, ya
In some ways this book reminded me of "Because of Winn Dixie", but for an older teen audience. I loved, loved, loved this book about a homeless teen who lives in a bus with her alcoholic mother and yet tries to maintain a regular school life and her optimism until tragedy strikes. I laughed and cried as I read this book and I was sorry when it ended. Highly recommended. ...more
