Two years ago, Liv's father, a teacher at her high school, began to display bizarre behavior, before he disappeared. Liv has mostly moved past that, except for Doug. Every Sunday with Doug, they check her father's traps for the alien beings he called skinners. Liv thinks Doug might finally move on, until they find a skinner in one of the traps. Now Liv finds herself in a nightmare, but it isn't the skinner that's scaring her.
