If you enjoy Downton Abbey you HAVE to read this book. It's a wonderful story -- the main character is forced to leave her very well-to-do Jewish family in Vienna during the 30's to go to work as a maid to a titled family in England in order to get out of Austria while there is still time. The workings of the family's estate and how she becomes a part of all of it is a very well-written and captivating story. I definitely recommend it.
