Falling in love at a young age, Charlotte lost her virginity to a seducer. If this were to be discovered she would be ruined. However, I think the phrase "not quite a lady" was used at the time in a more class-based sense, so it doesn't quite fit. Although Darius certainly treats her as if she wasn't quite a lady! Thoroughly charming Regency romance. I dropped everything else to just read this. The hero, Darius Carsington (the youngest Carsington) is a sexy Mr Spock-type (I'm picturing Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Are you picturing Thor, too?)

Pretty darned good

I wonder what a relationship without insta-attraction would be like, though, especially in a regency era romance?

This one had insta-attraction but not insta-love. That piece was earned. Would recommend.
