Why did I read something with such an embarrassing title? I don't know. The author is Anita Shreve-esque. And she is a descendant of Anthony Trollope, which is fun. And the book is not as bad as it sounds: like her other stuff, it's full of sibling relations and post-midlife crises and lightly woven subplots.
