What Members Thought
First in the Remy Chandler series. For once no vampires or werewolves but angels. And I quite like Sniegoski's version which reminds me very much of how angels are portrayed on Supernatural - they are warriors first and foremost and there are the good angels and then there are the dicks. Eh, this one's alright. in an interesting twist for these urban fantasy mystery-type novels, the protagonist is a former angel instead of a wizard. Other than that, it's pretty much status quo: a guy just trying to do the right thing has to go up against some supernatural bad guys once he figures out what the heck is going on. the action sequences are as cinematic as though this is in fact a screenplay just waiting to be filmed, and much like many action movies, there's nary a female character o
