I took nature for granted most of my life, maybe we all do in our youth? Or maybe I'm so removed from green things living in the desert that I seek out the lushness of nature in books?

Experiencing a year in nature with Ms Renkl is lovely, the art is perfect adding the just-right amount of visual to the already beautiful language. I'm sure it would be a great read as an ebook, but I'm grateful I decided to place a hold on the physical copy, too.
