This was a heavy, emotional book. Colleen did such an excellent job of making you feel all the emotions, from all sides. I was preparing myself for it not to end in a happily ever after… because how could it? How could Scotty’s parents ever let Kenna into their lives? Holy cow. Another powerful emotional roller coaster of a ride. I’m not sure how CoHo does it but I’m sure glad she does.
I'm not going to lie, I considered giving this 3 stars, but the character development just wasn't there.
