Sometimes, children know who they are in ways that make adults uncomfortable; at other times, parents have needs or expectations that children find it difficult to meet. Just a sweet read. Just like a good children's book should, it touches on hard topics with an artful hand. And there's just a lot of ingenuity, hope, and real conversations. And love. Lots of love.
