This was a cute, fun book. I went into it with low expectations because it has so few ratings, which I can't really account for (surely there aren't that many fundie parents forbidding their kids books with "demon" in the title?) and was pleasantly surprised. I will pass this on to my 12-year-old niece; I think she is done with her witch-craft phase but will like the positive depiction of girls' firm friendships and the characters' attempt to do the right thing despite danger and worse, social e
