Habib and these stories about him are absolutely delightful! He's like Honey in the song, "kinda dumb and kinda smart." His perceptions of situations are often so ridiculous that they're hilarious, such as in "Habib Buys a Donkey" and "Habib and the Pomegranates." Conversely, Habib can be most shrewd, as in "Habib and the Five Coins' and "Habib and the Cat." These stories are great for telling and reading aloud, and most of them are excellent for children.
