it's weird because i don't know what to say. majority of my book reviews are negative, and there are loads of points i need to cover. but i liked this book. like, i really enjoyed it. i don't read a lot of contemporary, so i was pretty surprised by the fact that i even finished it. and in a decent time too.

Dreamology is a cute YA standalone contemporary romance.
The narrator is 16 year old Alice.
When the book begins Alice and her dad have moved to Boston from NYC. Ever since she was little Alice has dreamed about a boy named Max. When she shows up for her first day at her new private school Max is a student there.
I really liked the premise of this book. However most of the book wasn't really what I was expecting. I thought that Max and Alice would become friends and like each other inst ...more

I definitely enjoyed this one; it was a fun and easy read. However, it wasn't without its issues.
First of all, this is the kind of YA book that is overdramatic, slightly silly, and a bit cringe-worthy. Though I did still like it, it was a bit of a guilty pleasure. I felt second-hand embarrassment many times while reading, such as when Alice just casually told people that she knows Max from her dreams. (Not to even mention that then they're just like "oh ok". Like what???? Who would just automat ...more

I really really enjoyed this! It's a really cute, fast paced contemporary with a bit of sci-fi-esque twist. Only think I would have liked is a more in-depth explanation of how the connection happened and how it's dealt with. I don't wanna spoil anything but if you read it you will know what I mean. Over all a really good read and perfect for if you're in a reading slump.
