Considered by many to be Murakami's magnum opus, *1Q84* is his take on George Orwell's dystopian classic *Nineteen Eighty-Four*. Surreal and strange, this long novel explores the longing for love and completeness that resides in all of us, amid some unforgettable characters, an intricate plot with interesting twists and turns, and an ending where everything comes to full circle.
