I was actually pretty happy with this book, though everyone else in my book club seems to have hated it. I thought it was fairly interesting as an introductory source on how differently land-use regulation works in Europe, but I do have to admit that the history section is not very well done, and the author--a European--really doesn't seem to grasp or want to talk about the significance of race. ...more
