What Members Thought

This is the first book of Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I read the second one first by accident, but if I had read this one first instead, I probably wouldn't have realized what I had stumbled onto until I continued with the rest of the series. It's a great book, but not as good as the ones that follow; Wrath's okay, but he doesn't really move me. Same goes for Beth. Ah yes, I needed a bit of a reading pick me up in the middle of my Game of Thrones readathon and what better way than to revisit my BDB love? This series (especially the first few books) never get old. I haven't read The King yet (shocker, I know) but I have my reasons and am enjoying the re-read right now.
This series is one of the few that just inspires me to want to start writing again.
