I wasn't really into reading before and my family tried to get me into it. They checked out books that were O.K. but nothing that really got me into it. This book was great. I couldn't stop reading it until the 2nd one came out. It loved this book especially when Eragon finds the egg and it hatches. Then Eragon tries to make it fly and is trying to think of a name to call her. He comes up with Saphira.

This book tell about a farm boy named eragon that find a stone, that actually a dragon egg... So he become a dragon rider, learn about sword and magic... he try to kill galbatorix who betrayed dragon rider and become a king long ago...

It's not exact ally the most original series by my count, I can see some stands of resemblance to other stories but overall it's a good read.

I found Eragon really really good, the story was interesting and flowed really well. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I first found this book when my little brother brought it home to ask me to help him understand the first part of the book. I was only going to read the first chapter or so but it was so interesting I ended up staying up late to finish reading it. I love this book!!! <3
