I enjoy this book, I'm not saying that is it the best, but I find it enjoyable. Unlike The Lord of the Rings Trilogy which bored me to tears. I might some days give this one 4 stars instead of 3. But I'm currently ticked off at the author for saying he was writing a trilogy and then deciding it wasn't enough and making us sit and wait for several more years and still not having the 4th with even a release date! Sorry rant over....

I really liked Eragon, Paolini is a young writer, I think he was about 16 when he started to write Eragon and he has done a great job. He has his own language but I know just a few words and one of them is Brisingr which means fire and it's the title of the 3rd book. There is a Dark Lord in the book just like in all of other fantasy novels (mostly). Some parts of it reminded me of Lord of the Rings, maybe not Eragon but Eldest. I give it 5/5.

this was a great book as was the others. I couldn't put it down! Read it in about 3 days. Christopher Paolini kept the medieval type action flowing while adding some fantasy and romance. Great book!
