Dang but this finale was sooooo gooood! I still love the narrator--great salty voices, sets the tone for the series. I love getting to see Joron grow in maturity and leadership, stepping up to Meas's shoes--and beyond. The revelations fit just right, and the hope for a new world order was perfectly suited to the unique culture created in the pages. The ending was uplifting and bittersweet, and the epilogue a perfect circle. ...more

My feelings for this book are complicated. It has been awhile since a book has broken me. I think that this book is my favorite in the series. I loved seeing characters grow. The only problem is that the ending seemed vague I wanted more of a wrap up to conclude the story.
