I enjoyed this book so much! I'm nervous about reading the next one because who knows if the last one will ever come out, but I probably will still read it. The characters are great and the story is really interesting.

What an original fantasy! This genre has suffered a lack of originality for several years (IMO), where nearly every novel you pick up is simply a re-chewed version of the last one you read. The Name of the Wind delivers a new realm with memorable characters, some human, some not, mystery, action, comedy, magic, romance, and heart-wrenching drama.
