Having seen many movie versions of this famous book , I thought it was finally time to read the book this (time of) year and I did!
How talented Dickens was... to invent this story and write it in beautiful language. Maybe I'll reread it again by Christmas time next year, so much detail there, deserves great attention, and my good intention will be to read more Dickens in the time to come. Excellent full cast version, with the amazing Derek Jacobi as the narrator. I always prefer complete versions, although this one seems to have added a little bit of dialog that isn't in the original, which is weird. My favorites are probably Jim Dale and Tim Curry, although Neil Gaiman and Patrick Stewart are amazing. Next year I'll try LaVar Burton maybe

Really enjoyed Tim Curry reading this! The tale is familiar of course, but I've never read the book. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
