“The hunt begins in half an hour and I can’t miss it. I have too many questions and most of the answers will be carrying shotguns.”
Who is this “I” with the questions? My dad told me he’d read about a man whose dementia got so bad that he got up one morning, looked in the bathroom mirror, and said “Who the hell are YOU?” The reason he told me was that he had dementia, but he was a long way from that point.

Like Groundhogs Day and Life After Life, this book drove me mad. I should have learned my lesson with those. I am dazed and confused most days anyway...don't need a book to compound the problem. For those who enjoyed it, wow, I envy your patience. I wonder how many times Day 2 was repeated? Thought the end would never come.

Giving this a 3 is generous on my part. I normally stop after around 50 pages if I can't get into it. Not sure why I kept reading until I finally finished. Was it the outstanding reviews it got. Who knows?

I think I would have liked this book more if it had been shorter. The first half dragged for me but I liked the second half more as the primary mystery took off. I liked the concept of it, which was very unique, but at the same time, there was quite a bit of this world left unexplained that made me feel like the author didn’t want to bother with it. So while I did like this book, I am not sure that I will try another book by him. I prefer more fleshed out background in my mystery/other genre ble

This was tedious. Few likeable characters and it couldn't really hold my commuting attention. So happy to be finished but I did think it a clever concept and I was curious about the resolution.
