3.5 stars. I was expecting much more from this book, and while it was a page turner and I loved the first twist that came just at the right time, the final twist at the end left me wondering how believable it was. Not at all, is my present thinking. Many thrillers these days seem to affect me that way ... pretty exciting during the build up and then a bit of a letdown by the time it's all over. I was torn on how to rate this. The first 3/4th was good, suspenseful and loved reading it. I also liked how the author writes. I didn't like the rest as much because of how it ended. It wasn't a terrible ending but I was still disappointed.

I can rarely figure out a much talked about twist, this was no exception. I had no idea until the reveal, I had a lot of theories but this did not cross my mind, really good! Easy read, short chapters, moved right along...bonus!

This took awhile to grab me, but once it did, I was wrapped around its proverbial finger. I did not see the ending coming, even though I saw all the pieces suggesting something was amiss.
