For Dec. 2021 Book Club.
I see a pattern in Hawkins' characters. They're very damaged, unlikeable people. First with the incessantly drunk Rachel, The Girl on the Train, and then about fifteen damaged people in Into the Water. Here we have another large cast of adults with devastating pasts, many who could be suspects in a recent murder.
