4.5 stars rounded up. I really liked this imagining of the life of Marie Curie if she had not gone to Paris, but had, instead, married her Polish sweetheart. The chapters alternate between the historical fiction of her having gone to Paris, met Pierre Curie, etc., and her life in Poland with Kazimierz after she marries him instead.
