I expected to be impressed with The Widower's Tale, if for no other reason than I enjoyed Julia Glass' Three Junes so much. Both books share narrators who struggle with identity, family, and sexual relationships. The Widower's Tale explores the lives of four men whose paths intersect around--of all things--a preschool.
