What Members Thought
This book was intense! And pretty depressing during the war years. I'd recommend to any/all Hannah fans. I like her historical fiction, but always downgrade her for the romance she must feel obligated to throw in, as it's ALWAYS there. Overall a really excellent book, and a well-deserved tribute to all who served. But what a disappointing, unbelievable ending.

Kristin, you took my breath away. Favorite book of 2024 so far. Being the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran Navy medic, this book was personal to me. The research she had to have done to write this was phenomenal. High 5 stars!

4.5 stars. Read in one sitting, and I feel she wrote a strong story about Viet Nam and the aftermath for veterans.

Whoa ...what a book. Hannah has always been hit or miss for me, but this a must read.
