Shelves: 3000-2025, nonfiction, book-club, read-in-2025, libby

I read this last month for my in person book club. The author knew from a young age she was different from other people and that many sociopaths turn violent or criminal. She tries to rein herself in by learning as much as possible about the condition, but unfortunately there is very little information since it falls under psychopathy in most books. At times it's very heavy with medical info and analysis, but when she tells her personal stories, it's very interesting indeed. But then I was a fan ...more

Very GOOD autobiographical piece by a diagnosed sociopath!
Who would have “thunk” it.??
Her introspection is amazing!
