4.5 stars. Added to my Favorites shelf. Just a couple of things preventing a 5 star rating, those being that I more or less figured out both disappearances well before the reveal. But there were still some good twists along the way and the last chapter was the perfect way to leave it.

This is an elaborate missing person story. Two siblings disappear 14 years apart. Could resolution of these cases be linked? The mysteries unfold in intertwined timelines and the pov of multiple characters. I found the continual jumping among characters and between time periods very confusing. But for the reader with greater powers of conscentration, this could be an engrossing story. 3.5 stars

This was just so damn good. I love a case that is compelling, keeps you hooked and has humanity at the heart of it.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.
