What Members Thought
This author has consistently given me 5* reading experiences and this did not disappoint. I felt for all of the characters in this novel. The themes of isolation, climate change, grief, and forming connections worked well in this.
I can’t even begin to explain how this book made me feel. I was crying so hard by the end. I’ve never cried this much reading any book. This is about the family, both born into and found family. It’s about mother’s love for her child. It’s about the world we live in and how it’s going to hell. But mostly it’s about the deep love that can never be broken and that lasts forever. That of mother and her child. I love you Charlotte McConaghy. Don’t ever stop writing.
