Shelves: crap
If you are considering suicide, this is the book that will push you over the edge. The key themes are hopelessness, bleakness, oppression, passive-aggression and infidelity. Besides, it is a complete copy of Wuthering Heights, set in the USA in 1980. Skip it.

I finished this book yesterday, so it only took me three days to read it. It kept me interested the whole way through to find out what was going to happen next. I liked the change of characters as the story went along. They were kind of introduced earlier in the story, and I would be interested to know more about them, and then a chapter would come along where I would find out more.

March Murray returns to the town where she grew up in New England after ninteen years in California. She stayed away because her first love left her there and she never recovered. For the first half of the book, I identified with, and even rooted for, March, despite the obvious moral issues.
