Am I the only person upset that they’re trying to pass off the girl on the cover as Audrey Rose? Also, I hated Thomas (was low-key hoping he’d die) and saw the ending coming from about page 80. ALSO WHY WOULD THEY PUT THAT GIANT SPOILERY QUOTE ON THE BACK OF THE BOOK?!

This was a likable young adult book on a search for Jack the Ripper. While the characters were very out of character for the era of the book, I wasn't a huge stickler for it since it isn't a history book. It is definitely a book written for a modern audience that wouldn't enjoy how anyone who isn't male and white was actually treated in daily life. I will give the second book in the series a try to see if it's worth continuing. ...more
