What Members Thought
What I liked in this book is the descriptive dramatic way the author describes the life in the poor village. Specifically a young couple with a little baby are the main characters. It made me reflect about how the life of poor people in the old days was so unfair. They endured too much suffering, with little hope to overcome.
I gave 3 stars because the book is well written but the author placed too much emphasis on conflict.
