This book was extremely well paced; I loved all the descriptions of the places and the names! There was a really good mystery element too, I did not see that end coming! The relationship developed slowly, and the romance wasn't the main focus, which I liked.Incredible. One of my favourites this year. I want to read it again, experience it for the first time again...oh how i wish I hadn't read it so fast...I never wanted it to end...I NEED BOOK TWO!!!

The Kiss of Deception, by Mary E. Pearson, is a fantasy full of wonderful friendship, loyalty and humor. The more I read, the more I enjoyed the story and the harder it was to put the book down! The ending leaves me waiting impatiently for the next book in this series!
