My thoughts on this after reading it a second time didn't change much. If anything, it made me love Adichie even more than I already did. This confirmed that she's absolutely one of my all-time favorite authors. She's so observant and able to convey human emotion in such a relatable way, even when describing experiences I have never come close to experiencing. Not even two months after I first read it, I reread Half of a Yellow Sun for class. What can I say? I loved it even more this time, probably because I was able to discuss it in class and we talked a lot about Adichie's great narrative structures and her amazing characters. I can warmly recommend all of Adichie's work. The more you know about them when starting to read, the better in my opinion.

I feel like every time I read a Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie novel I'm going to have too much to say to put into a review. This is the second book I've read by her and both times I feel like they warrant a discussion, rather than a one-sided review.
