2015: This book was a wonderful immersion into a different world, and I loved learning the history of the parallel Londons and the rules of the magic that existed to one extent or another in them.

2017 Readread: This time I reread this book in print, because the narrator for the audiobook had no business trying to voice a character of a different gender than his own, and Delilah Bard is way too cool a character to be given a high, nasally, emotionally flat voice.
