Listened to the audiobook on Hoopla. It was fun! Love the commercials interspersed throughout. Enjoyed the humor. Characters felt real. Plot was well paced. It’s not scary or disturbing. It’s fun like Final Girls was fun or All the Missing Girls was fun. That kind of mood. It actually felt like Lurking Horror, but not at college.

I decided to do some vacuuming during the last hour and I lost the bubble. There was a story jump, and I don’t know what happened. The end was cool, if predictable.

Somewhere between a 2-3 stars.

I thought the premise sounded really interesting and I liked the graphic design of the book, but the plot lost me. (view spoiler) The writing kept me reading but it really wasn't my cup of tea and the rating reflects that. ...more

I really enjoyed this. It held up in so many ways. I can pretty much guarantee that I will NEVER be shopping in an IKEA (mail works fine). A lot of genius artistry went into this book. It was creepy as hell. I am pretty sure my dreams will be infected.

I think my only complaint is that it was short. I wanted more. I can't imagine the time it took to put together, but it was worth it.
