What Members Thought
Cool history of a fantasy world (China-ish?), with mammoths although we barely see them here. But there is a cool background (monks, fancy talking animals, royal people uniting kingdoms and double crossing each other) and a satisfying frame around the history story.

It was a bit too short for me to really sink my teeth in it, but it was an interesting and pleasant read that left me curious to read more by the author
Well alright, another series added to my tracker but I loved this world and the style of storytelling.
Lovely. Can't wait to read more.
