To me there are two sides of Usr Experience Design. The one side is the process-side with personas and user story mapping and prototyping and usability testing. And then there are some rules and principles that need to be applied or at least considered. The Humane Interface is about the later. Jeff Raskin was among the first to look this way at computer interfaces, coming from a time when the mouse was a radically new input device.
