Although this book overloaded on facts and dates the overall impressions of strength and determination will stay with me for a long while. The women in this book could have been anywhere in the world and their story to break through the glass ceiling would have been impressive, but their fight towards equality is inspirational because they have had to overcome both racial and gender predudice in every aspect of their lives.
