This was my first introduction to Christie and I wasn't very impressed. I chose this one by the title alone, hoping theere w ould be more detail about actual archaeological findings. But no such luck.
The murderer is very easy to guess and the suspects were pretty nondescript.

Tempted to give it 5 stars out of sheer nostalgia of reading a so beautifully written Christie. Chronologically, Murder in the Orient Express came next, which is a masterpiece in itself.
