First reading, August 2010: 3.5 stars. I really enjoyed reading this but am finding it very difficult to recall what actually happened in the second half of the book, which is very different from the first half.

I do remember this--I bought this one at a bookstore where the clerk commented on the fact that I was buying science fiction AND romance. Crazy lady book-buyers, liking all kinds of things!!
