Hands down, one of the bext books of all time.

I've always wanted to read this. Now I have. The movie will always be timeless and wonderful, but, the book brings a whole different perspective to the audience and contains stories within stories.

This book was so much fun! I never was a diehard for the movie, so I only loosely was distracted from previously seeing it. The book was so witty and funny! I would highly recommend reading the introduction since this sets up the voice of the author/narrator so well and really you won't understand the voice that keeps interrupting the narrative if you don't read it. Goldman also wrote Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which is a fun little fact and one he reminds the reader of in the storyline
