I don't remember liking on the road at all.
This seemed to be filled with great wisdom, although most of it seemed to slip through my fingers. Was beautifully written, but without the pretense of many zen books

On rereading I am not sure how much great wisdom there is.
I think that the overarching philosophy Jack espouses is very important but I didn't get little nuggets to memorize and more of a feeling to try to embody. The book is incredibly well written and ...more
