DNF. Sorry I waded through 60% of this before I gave up.
This was good. A quirky and quick historical fiction mystery.
Not quite a reselling of Jane Eyre more an homage.
I liked it.
Nothing taxing. Enough plot and character twists to keep it entertaining, enough meat to make it feel worthwhile.
Give it a go.

I loved the beginning of this book, Jane Eyre mixed with a serial killer. Later in the book I became bored but enjoyed the premise. 3.5 overall
Prob around 3.75 for me but enjoyed the story and glad I read it. Really loved Faye’s writing and Jane’s character in the book. I can see why Jane Eyre fans would really enjoy it.
I really enjoyed this.
