A masterpiece with so much to contemplate slowly. I’m so glad I read it with Matthew and some of my other family members. I will definitely reread it. This will be in my top 5 all-time favorite novels.
i had to guess when I finished the book because it took me a month. Overall, a good classic. as we get older our tastes in books change, attitudes change.
amazing story, detailed and interesting characters, wonderful! Might be my favorite Steinbeck novel ever!
Gorgeous description of the Salinas Valley...ready for something to happen there!
