Laugh out-loud funny at times, but technical at others. I loved the "story" he tells of his experience hiking the AT, but at times I got bogged down with the facts and details on the informational side of it.

This memoir was really funny and informative. I loved all of the eccentric people Bill and Katz met on the trail and all the stories. I also enjoyed all the factual/historical parts interspersed throughout the book about the Appalachian Trail. I would definitely read another Bill Bryson book. Can’t wait to watch the film adaptation.
Loved it! Entertaining and educational!
I loved the first half. Then it started dragging.
