I think reading this before her death would have been a profoundly different (possibly more critical) experience. But she died before I got to it so I'll never know.

Carrie Fisher had a talent for writing at an early age. I was a little hesitant to read this, because I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the diaries of a teen, but Carrie made the subject of her Star Wars diaries immensely readable. She will definitely be missed, and I will read her other memoirs.
