Probably more of a 3.5. I started enjoying it more towards the end, when Epstein touched on things we can do as atheists which would replace normally religious celebrations such as baptisms, weddings, funerals. I think Epstein is much more tolerant of religion than I am. The scale I fall on would probably be somewhere smack in the middle of Epstein and Hitchens. Still a good read that I would recommend especially to believers that want to understand more about non-believers.
