I'd give this 3 and a half stars but as the system doesn't allow it I'll stick with 3.
This one is too slow at first but once it picks up momentum and establishes its setting becomes so enjoyable and rewarding in every sense I assure you.
AFAK is a collection of short tales intertwined to form a big narrative, that revolves around 3 kids (2 really develop trought the book) and their town in the late 20's.
Somehow it reminded me of some parts of my own childhood and that made it more enjoyable.

Certain books are able to transport you not only to other places, but also to different points in your life. That's exactly what this book did so effortlessly. A beautiful reminiscing of childhood summer. This book, like the Dandelion Wine it's named after, served as a warm reminder of summer days gone by during these past cold winter days.
